– Salisbury Street, Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand

The inner city refuge known as the Palace was no longer a safe place to be. We camped out under the trees that night and consoled each other as we waited for some kind of real information from the news. All in all it was a life sharing experience, our inner city oasis was gone and for a while we were left in the lurch. The crew dispersed to all corners of the globe some never to be seen again, others after getting their lives together returned to contact, slowly rebuilding their minds. I will always remember the community we had at the Palace and i will always long for there to be another special place in this world that all people are welcome.
