And add on to my 1st main story just before this one. It is the relentlessness about the quakes. Just when you think they are quieting down, they seem to start again with one over 5 mag.

I said I was in our family home on Feb 22nd but I had been living with a “broken” old big house since September 4th 2010 and repairs had been going on for months. It is the ongoing and never getting out of “Quake mode” that takes its toll on you.

It is the never ending that is so hard and the constant uncertainty. I still can’t watch too much on the quakes as while I so enjoy reading/hearing about other people’s stories it is at the same time too wrenching and I can get a bit emotional about it all.

But being able to share our stories like this is so good. Thanks to all the library staff who are always so very helpful and you can still get a live person on the phone if you need help with anything.
